Roles and Access Rights

The Family Admin is the one organizing the Circle around the one in the family needing care. He/she is inviting the rest of the participants. The statements below are valid for the Family Admin and the Circle/s created by him/her.

  • Can create up to two Circles; each Circle could be with different participants and needs a separate setup;
  • Forms each Circle and decides whom to invite in each Circle using the Web App;
  • Can view, interact with, and manage the different Circles he/she creates by switching between them;
  • Uses the advanced mode of the mobile application (Family Member mode);
  • Has access to the entire information of all the participants in each Circle;
  • Adds/edits the entire information of the Family Bond in each Circle;
  • Can add one Assistant  per Circle and manage the entire information of the Assistant in each Circle;
  • Can invite up to 4 Family Members per Circle (add their email and relation to the Family Bond)
  • Can’t edit the contact information of the Family Members which they input on their own;
  • Can delete invites (remove) participants from the Circle; can delete Circles;
  • Can upload videos and photos for the Family Bond via the mobile application;
  • Can add list of medicines for the Family Bond via the mobile application;
  • Can add Doctor Appointments for the Family Bond via  the mobile application;
  • Can add Photo stories and see the Photo stories and photos from everyone in the Circle via the mobile application.

A Family Member can be anyone who has received an email invite from a Family Admin to join a Circle. The statements below are valid for the Circle/s the Family Member is invited to and has joined.

  • Can join a particular Circle if he/she receives an email invite from the Family Admin; 
  • Needs an email address and has access to the Web App;
  • Can join several Circles if invited by their Family Admins ;
  • Uses the advanced mode of the mobile application (Family member mode);
  • Can switch between the different Circles he/she is invited to;
  • Adds/edits his/her contact information in the Web App so it is visible for everyone in the Circle;
  • Sees the entire contact information of all the participants in the Circle;
  • Sees the entire information of the Family Bond as added by the Family Admin in the Circle;
  • Sees the entire information of the Assistant as added by the Family Admin (if an Assistant is added) in the Circle;
  • Sees the entire information  of the rest of the Family Members added by the Family Admin in the Circle;
  • Can’t remove participants from the Circle; 
  • Can’t delete Circle;
  • Can’t upload video and photo albums for the Family Bond but can see them via the mobile application;
  • Can’t add medicines for the Family Bond but can see them via the mobile application;
  • Can’t add Doctor Appointments for the Family Bond but can see them via the mobile application;
  • Can add Photo stories and see the Photo stories and photos from everyone in the Circle via the mobile application.

The Family Bond is the central figure and the person around whom the Circle is formed.

  • Can join the Circle if he/she receives a Login Code  from the Family Admin and downloads the mobile application;
  • Uses the simplified mode of the mobile application (Family Bond mode);
  • Doesn’t need an email address and doesn’t have access to the Web App;
  • Sees the entire information of all the participants in his/her Circle;
  • Sees the entire information added for him by the Family Admin  via the mobile application;
  • Sees the entire information of the Assistant if one is added by the Family Admin;
  • Sees the entire information of the Family Members as added by themselves;
  • Can’t remove participants from the Circle; 
  • Can’t delete Circles;
  • Can’t upload video and photo albums but can see those added for him by the Family Admin via the mobile application;
  • Can’t add list with medicines but can see those added for him by the Family Admin via the mobile application;
  • Can’t add Doctor Appointments but can see those added for him by the Family Admin via the mobile application;
  • Sees the Photo stories and photos from everyone in the Circle via the mobile application; 
  • Can create Photo stories which contain only photos via the mobile application.

The Assistant can be anyone who is caring for the Family Bond.

  • Can join a particular Circle if he/she receives a Login Code  from the Family Admin and downloads the mobile application; 
  • Uses the simplified mode of the mobile application (Assistant mode);
  • Doesn’t need an email address and doesn’t have access to the Web App;
  • Sees the entire information of all the participants in each Circle;
  • Sees the entire information added for him by the Family Admin via the mobile application;
  • Sees the entire information of the Family Bond as added by the Family Admin;
  • Sees the entire information of the Family Members as added by themselves;
  • Can’t remove participants from the Circle; 
  • Can’t delete Circles;
  • Can’t upload videos but can see those added for the Family Bond by the Family Admin via the mobile application;
  • Can’t add medicines but can see those added for the Family Bond by the Family Admin via the mobile application;
  • Can’t add Doctor Appointments but can see those added for the Family Bond by the Family Admin via the mobile application;
  • Can’t see the Photo stories and photos added in the Circle by the Family Members and the Family Admin; 
  • Can create Photo stories which contain only photos via the mobile application.

FAQ

  • No, you don’t.Circle4Care is an application which can be used on a variety of smartphones and tablets (Android and iOS devices). The mobile application can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store and the initial registration happens through the Web App.
  • A device supporting the operating system iOS 12 or a more recent version, or a device working on Android v 8 or a more recent version. In view of the fast development of technological processes, the list of the versions supported by the Application may be updated.

Circle4Care helps people who need care to remain independent in their homes for longer. Their well-being is monitored and information about them, their activities, medications, and medical appointments is shared in a circle with relatives and their assistants.

The mode of the Application for the Family Bond and the Assistant was developed with a functional design, easy to use by older adults (large icons, texts and simplicity of use).

Circle4Care uses the personal information provided by you only in accordance with the Privacy Policy. For more details see the Privacy Policy.

Circle4Care stores the data of its Users under confidential terms, according to the Law on personal data protection and will not disclose them to third parties without the express written consent of the Users or only in cases regulated by the existing legislation and only to the institutions expressly specified in the law.

Calls are carried out through mobile operators. The device must have a SIM card.

Family Bond and Assistant log into the app with an automatically generated code sent by Admin.

The device remembers the code, but the Admin can always generate a new access code if he/she logs out. This code is generated in the Web App.

Through the web module the Family Admin creates a space (Circle) for the people who will be using the application (Users) and sends an invitation for installation of the Application to each one of them. 

 

The circle consists of the Family Admin and the participants invited by him/her. 

A circle of people who can use the Application includes the following roles:

  • Family Admin;
  • Family Bond;
  • Family;
  • Assistant (if any).

The Family Admin is the person in the family who creates his/her user profile in the Web App. Through the Web App, the Family Admin forms a Circle of the people who will be using the Application and sends an invitation to each one of them. The Family Admin creates profiles for the Family Bond and the Assistant (if any) in which he/she enters the entire information about them. He/she also sends an invitation to the Family Members to install the Application by entering their email address, including data about their family ties with the Family Bond. The Family Members enter on their own the rest of their profile information in the Web App.

This is not recommended. The app for the Family Bond and the Assistant is designed with larger fonts and icons and enlarging them via phone settings will cause design issues.

The Application can work on a single Device of a single User simultaneously.

You can invite 1 Family Bond, 1 Assistant, and up to 4 Family Members in one Circle.

One Family Admin can create and manage up to 2 Circles.

To use Circle4Care, you need a stable Internet connection for all the participants of the Circle.

In each Circle up to 1000 photos can be uploaded and shared. This is the total allowance for all the participants of the Circle. 

Currently, the app is available in English and Bulgarian. There are plans for translating it into more languages so keep checking.

The Family Admin can add only one assistant per Circle.

The Family Admin can add only one Family Bond per Circle. You can form another Circle if you are responsible for more than one person receiving care.

No, we don’t have a functionality for remote control.

Yes, the app can help as it contains information about the names, addresses, local times, and contact details of the family members and the assistant. It can contain the life story of the one taken care of if the Family Admin adds it to the photos section. It can also serve as a tool for keeping track of medicines and planned doctor appointments.
